Sodium Hydroxide

Sodium Hydroxide Solution holds the formula NaOH and is mainly used as a strong chemical base in the manufacture of pulp and paper, textiles, drinking water, soaps and detergents and as a drain cleaner.

Sodium Hydroxide Solid – holds the molecular formula NaOH. It has a variety of uses across Breweries, Dairies and Food Processing Plants. It is not suitable for use on aluminium, zinc, tin or their alloys. Caustic soda pearls easily dissolves in water, with heat release. The product is soluble in methyl and ethyl alcohols.

Both are a principal strong base used in the chemical industry.

As a solution it appears clear with no distinguishing odour, in Pearl form – White semi spherical granules in appearance with no recognisable odour and as Flake – White solid based flakes with no recognisable odour
