Sodium Hexametaphosphate (SHMP)

Airedale Chemical’s Sodium Hexametaphosphate holds the formula Na6P6O18 and is also widely known as SHMP.

It is mainly used as a sequestrant and has applications within a wide variety of industries, for application such as a food additive as well as a dispersing agent to break down clay and other soil types.

Airedale Chemical manufacture SHMP as a clear, colourless solution with no distinguishing odours and as a solid, white powder with no distinguishing odour.
