Sodium Carbonate

Airedale Chemical Sodium Carbonate holds the formula Na2CO3 and is domestically well known for its everyday use as a water softener. It can be extracted from the ashes of many plants.

Sodium Carbonate is generally used as a relatively strong base in various setting and in solid form (also known as Soda Crystals) is a white odourless powder that absorbs moisture from the air. As a solution it is a clear colourless liquid
