Airedale Chemical Hydrochloric Acid holds the formula HCI and is a highly corrosive, strong mineral acid used across a variety of different industries. Hydrochloric Acid was first discovered in the industrial revelation and since then has been adapted for use in the chemical industry.

Airedale Chemical’s Hydrochloric Acid is mainly stays within the chemical industry and is used as a chemical reagent in large-scale production of vinyl chloride for PVC plastic, as well as MDI/TDI for polyurethane.

It is also used for hydrolysing starch and proteins in the preparation of various food products, and in the photographic, textile, and rubber industries.

Hydrochloric Acid is a clear colourless to light yellow solution with a sharp, irritating odour. Boiling point will vary depending on the varying strength of the solution which ranges from 10% to 36%.
