Airedale Chemical Collect Silver at Green Apple Awards

Airedale Chemical is proud to confirm it has received Silver for Environmental Best Practice at the Green Apple Awards for the successful role out of the ‘Zero to Landfill’ Project.

Held by The Green Organisation at the House of Commons in London, The Green Apple Awards encourage efficient use of resources and supports sustainable development by rewarding businesses that make a positive impact on the environment. Karen Waddington, brainchild behind the businesses zero to landfill scheme commented: “What started as a routine health and safety analysis of the site led to steps to improve our recycling procedures. From there it grew into a company-wide initiative and a brand new waste management policy. To now be collecting our award at the House of Commons from an international environment group is overwhelming.”
