Phosphoric Acid

Phosphoric acid is shipped to the UK directly from our manufacturer in China to our bulk dock side storage tanks at Liverpool. Our supplier is the largest manufacturer of phosphoric acid in China and Airedale Chemical Company represent them exclusively in the UK and Ireland as distribution agents. This gives security over supply chain from manufacturer to customer allowing Airedale to retain its high level of service to the UK market.

Product is shipped to the UK as 85% strength. Our UK storage facility boosts 13,000MT of capacity in total, giving Airedale the largest storage facility of phosphoric acid in the UK.

Product is shipped and stored as 85% and can then be diluted onto dedicated bulk road tankers at Liverpool using state of the art technology to mix to any diluted strength, albeit the main being 75%. The phosphoric acid can also be transported back to our facility at Crosshills where it can also be diluted and repacked to suit all our customer’s needs.

Phosphoric acid is used in a variety of applications including water treatment, food colorants, fertilisers, detergents and pharmaceuticals.
